Playwright test automation your team owns

We build Playwright end-to-end tests around your riskiest user journeys, in your repository, in code your engineers can read and extend. Tests run in your CI, keep traces and video when they fail, and never hide flakiness behind silent retries, so a green build means something.

What is Playwright and why use it?

Playwright is an open-source tool from Microsoft that drives real browsers to test web apps. It waits for the page to be ready before acting, supports Chromium, Firefox and WebKit, and records traces and video, which makes failures easier to diagnose than in many older tools.

What do you automate first?

The journeys where a failure costs the most, such as sign-up, login, checkout or the main thing customers pay you for. We rank journeys by business risk with you, automate those first, and avoid testing small details through the browser that are cheaper to check lower down.

Who owns the tests afterwards?

You do. The tests live in your repository, written in plain TypeScript or JavaScript with clear names, role-based locators and small helper functions. Your engineers can read, change and run them without us, and we hand over notes on how the suite is organised.

How do you handle flaky tests?

We fix the cause instead of adding retries that hide it. Common causes are shared test data, fixed waits and unstable locators. When a test is flaky we find out why, and anything we quarantine is listed openly with a reason so it doesn’t quietly disappear.

What does Playwright automation cost?

Each project is quoted on its scope, so there’s no price list. The main cost drivers are how many journeys you want covered, how complex your app and test data are, how much test code exists, how your pipeline is set up, and how much reporting you need. Request a quote and we reply by email.

Frequently asked questions

Do you write tests in TypeScript or JavaScript?

Either. We match what your team already uses, and recommend TypeScript for new suites because the editor catches mistakes early.

Can you test apps that need a login or two-factor sign-in?

Yes. We use dedicated test accounts and, where possible, a test-mode login path. We agree the approach during scoping.

Do you test mobile apps?

Playwright tests web apps, including mobile browsers through device emulation. It doesn’t test native iOS or Android apps.
